About Peaceful Warrior Systems

Peaceful Warrior Systems is comprised of two separate Martial Arts systems. Aikido Kokikai is a Japanese martial system of self-defense. Aikido Kokikai seeks to use the attackers own energy to redirect the attack and counter with a series of joint locks and energetic throws. These movements are used to neutralize the attacker’s power and render them helpless. Commando Krav-Maga is a revolutionary system of the Israeli Military hand-to-hand combat. It is considered by many experts to be one of the most devastating martial systems taught to the civilian quarter, and is based upon the arts taught to the elite Israeli Commando units.

Tony Kraemer, Head Instructor at Peaceful Warrior Systems, is a Third Degree Blackbelt (Sandan) in Aikido Kokikai, and a Level 5 Instructor of Commando Krav-Maga. He founded Lehigh Valley Aikido Kokikai in 1994 and Combat Survival of Northeast PA in 2006. Because of his commitment to both arts, and the strong emphasis both arts place on self-defense, he decided to combine both schools under one name, Peaceful Warrior Systems. His goal is to help teach others to defend themselves from threat. At Peaceful Warrior Systems, the goal is to learn self-defense that is practical, but also to develop self-confidence and good health, both physical and mental.
